Change Your Ticket

Annyeong! Today’s the end of 2014 & apparently the start of another year, (2015) which commonly most of us desire to have their fair share of aspiring to start anew and be the better version of ourselves. But very seldom that we stay true, consistently stick and live by those so-called resolution/s we engage themselves with.
New year’s resolution as most of us perceive it. When you really, really, (like really!) want a big change (in a good way, obviously) to take place in your everyday life, then do something about it. Because no one can ever help you change but yourself.
And in order for you to do that successfully, you have to think first of all your life goals (be distinct), formulate ways on how you can be able to pursue those & stick with it – with all your heart, soul & mind! What’s the sense of coming up with life goals if you’ll just disregard it afterwards? You’re just making fool out of yourself & end up getting worst than ever.

As for me, I’m not that serious with goals, resolutions and stuff before. But of course, as we grow up, we get to learn new things from experience & other people. And worst, from pain. So as 2015 starts, I don’t wanna ever be in the place wherein I always have to run after people just for them to stay with me. If you don’t have plans of staying, then so be it. I’m not anybody’s toy or pet dog that you can ignore and leave in the pedestal whenever you want. Hey, I’m human. I have feelings too. Having said that, I decided to bid farewell to 2014 and to old habits/ways and people that I utterly value but don’t deserve it, as well. Yes it’s hard. But with God, I know I can do anything. And so, goodbye 2014 & to the people I love but don’t deserve my time, effort & tears. Annyeong, 2015!

With this, as seen on my facebook account, I had my first photoshoot for 2015 & here’s the outcome:

Such A Minnie (Meanie)

Annyeong lovelies! Well, truth be told, I’m finding it hard to trim down my excessive eating & pigging out everywhere nowadays. Aside from the unexpected post birthday celebration-like buffet dinner with my two cousins, aunt & uncle from the US, along with Dad & bro, I’m sure none of you will make a dispute whne I say October, November & December are the best months of the year, yes? Celebrations, family gatherings & excessive shopping and pigging out here and there. So it’s pretty much the season wherein all of us are in high spirits, carefree & pretty much brisky about the holidays’ yingyangs. So it’s the season which people finds it hard to cut out that extra weight we acquire from pigging out too much, as well. Don’t we?

Personally, to be blunt, I’m currently struggling controlling myself from eating too much due to consecutive celebrations and going out. Not to mention, there are lots of November celebrants in our family. Then followed by next month’s feasts. Anyway, I think it’s obvious as to whom is my favorite disney character is, right? Minnie Mouse! Well, aside from the fact that the said cutie patootie character’s show is one of my favorite shows to watch back in my childhood days, along with other Playhouse Disney shows, Nickeledeon & Cartoon Network shows, perhaps, some of you might notice the fact that I have a huge fixation for ribbons, yes? Well, that’s why I love Minnie so much then!

Really Don’t Care

Oh my! If some of you might recognized that my look posts in the preceding week has been posted a bit late than it should be, right? And I’m terribly sorry for it! Blame it on my OJT slash fourth year life’s ying yang! Plus my not-so-okay-but-slowly-getting-better heart.

Well, every moment of our lives has the ability to be life changing, some of them more so than the others. And we’re all constantly growing through these moments. Even the bad moments need to happen in order for the good ones to come.

Just like you can’t have a sky with nothing but bright stars. There will always be some dim stars here and there, scattered among the bright ones. And because of this, the sky becomes more meaningful and much more breathtaking. Carrying on with my look for the day, what happens when my love for love for food and fixation for food explodes? The love child of Nutella, sparkly polo & tutu skirt has been born!

Better Than Words

Oh my! Classes are about to ensue next week. And after a couple of semesters plus our OJT training, I’m gonna finish my schooling already! Woo hoo!

But on the flip side of it, that would also mean I’m gonna be bloody busy nowadays! Oh boy! But before crying over spilled milk, after this, it would also mean I can be able to focus more on blogging right?

Since I didn’t able to post the specs of my preceding look (I’m very sorry!), I’d post it together with my today’s look, shall we?

Oh hi! Well, time for another look post, baby! But first, as what I’ve affirmed before, since my blog has been one of basically, my outlet of emotions, let me dole my current feelings before carrying on with my of course, another edgy look. Divergent thoughts kept on hurling on my mind. And yes, truth be told, it drives me insane in the most zany way possible.

I know it sucks to get a hold of something you thought was real and you thought was special. And in the blink of an eye, you found out that it’s not real, after all. And I was like, how can I go forward when I can’t get over the hump (humps, bluntly!) from where I’ve been? What now? How do I escape from this fiasco then? But we all experience hurt and all those things but it’s up to us how we’ll treat that experience. It’s either we’ll never forget it or move on and trust God with the plans he laid out for us.

With that avowed, another edgy look again! Well, for those who know me well, I bet you’re not shocked at all with that, don’t you?

I Blame Myself

Almost a couple of weeks ago, I together with my brother and his two girl-friends (mine too) had a photoshoot at our crib. Essentially, this was the second time we had the former. The first one was with another two girl-friends (though the two were not that fond of the said activity unlike ours). Here are some of the outtakes:

Finally had my black mesh top incorporated in my look. At he outset, found the mesh top a bit absurd to wear. I even had second thoughts of buying it but for experimenting’s sake, I bought it anyway.

Having said that, here’s what it seemed:

What’s The Fuss: Tutu Skirt

Copious months ago, if you’d shed light on my lookbook, I had runs of looks wearing one of the pieces I’m pretty much fixated with nowadays – tutu skirts! Yeah, I know I’m more of an edgy earthling than a girly dah-ling. But let’s give my girly side a chance, can we? Though I bet my edgy self would still bare its wings. Tee hee!

First in ze series is Never Gone. This was the one I with my brother took every ounce of courage and have the valour to have our look shoot at the main road of our subdivision in our house in Bulacan. Leather jackets never fails to bequeath spunkiness in any look. Evidently, my thing for florals did came to light once more. What do you guys think?

Next up was At The Rear of Shriveling Sun, which was an indoor look we pilfered at our terrace. The crack of dawn made its way and something in me calls to situate a vintage feel and wear my shades that has a circular lens (which gives the classic vibe) to cobble together florals and denim in a way that it would still stick out my edgy side in the presence of my black tutu.

Third of the pack was ‎Complex Trance which is I can I say is largely the utmost edgy look of the series. It is also the one which I found hard to shoot. Why? If you read my blog post about /this/, you wouldn’t be surprised. For me to balance and slot in feminity and manly pieces, I decided to commingle skull and sparkly tutu skirt together.

Last but not the least, Next To Me as the introductory look for my animal prints series (which was posted after the tutu series), after infesting my wardrobe, I incorporated zebra-printed blazer with a graphic printed tee. Then again, bluntly, I’m an against the sun fresco and so, when the daylight came, I together with my brother photographer, went cray cray and took our respective look shots. Apparently, this is also a (first) part of the animal prints series (will be posted next week or so.)

Happy hyping, sweeties! Tuned in next week for my subsequent WTF post. But this time, it was ze animal prints turn to flaunt and glare of fame.

Next To Me

And for ze last installation of le tutu series I’m having on lookbook, here’s one of my favorite tutu skirt out of all my few ones. And since, animal prints are hot this summer (though summer is about to end! boo hoo!), I incorporated my most cherished tutu skirt with leopard. And to lighten up the look, I invaded my closet & found a graphic tee to reckon up  colors to it. And when I say colors, I added colors literally. Tee hee!

On the other hand, since I was done with ze tutu series, let’s proceed with leopard/animal prints , yes? Isn’t it nice to end my tutu series and introduce my leopard/animal prints series at the same time with one look? But before anything else, let’s ensue with the outcome of this look first. Here’s le result! 🙂

Leopard cover up from Crover, Graphic Tee from Artwork, Gold Necklace from Forever 21

Tutu skirt from Forever 21, Couple of leopard bangles and gold/silver bangles from Tomato (part of a set), Black ribbon cuff from H&M

Stay tuned for my “intoductory” blog post for my leopard/animal prints series & ending le tutu series officially, will you?

Complex Trance

And now, may I present to you, the third installation of my impulsive tutu series of looks (along with At The Rear of Shrivel Sun, Never Gone). And to be blunt with all of you, this look would be one of the most challenging & very impudent location that I’ve been to. Look!

I’m wearing heels and the ground was not that consistent and even. So I seek help form my brother/photographer so I can stand properly. In fact, the first set of photos I took was wasted because my legs are so absurd-looking! But then, after that, it went well already. You judge! 🙂

Never Gone

In addition to my tutu series, here’s the second one. Pardon me for being such a  fan of florals and tutu skirts. Tee hee! Apparently, I together with my bro killed our boredom and tried overcoming those unwanted stares we get whenever we took look shoots/photoshoots in our subdivision. How? We cottoned on and took stockpiled courage heading to the main road and having our lookshoot beside the joshing bushes at the corner.

At first, we’re a bit hesitant of doing so, although, to be scrupulous, we’ve been planning to have our shoot there but we’re just skeptical because since it’s the main road, consequently, there is a 90% chance of people and vehicles would pass by us and the owner of the house (where the bushes were)  might caught us there. But then, we went on courageously there.

Here’s the denouement:
