Annyeong! Jal jinae? It’s been a month and so since I’ve able to post here. To be honest, I already posted a draft of this post a couple of weeks ago and it’s just now – finally, that I got to post it for real.
Everything’s been insanely surreal for me since last month. I lost my job and the day I officially lost it, I went to a job fair and got interviewed on one of the companies I applied for there without expecting anything since I’m still hoping I would be given one last chance to retain my current job at that time.

The next day, I got a text from that company saying I’m already for job offer! What an awesome mighty God I get to praise! I got hired the day after I officially lost my job. At present, it’s the last week of our training this week before we will be deployed in the operations. Hoping I get to excel and last long for at least a year or two for real this time.

Yes, I know I’ve been wearing my Nike Airforce 1 a lot on my posts. Mianhae! Stay tuned for my post hopefully at the end of this month about my thoughts on relationships kdrama and stuff. Jalga!~

Hi there lovelies! Before October bids goodbye, here I am, almost not posting anything again in le blog. Sorry, I’m currently looking for a job at the moment and I must say, I’m in the process of finding myself. Looking for that thing where I would do best. Most of us tend to take things for granted then have regrets of not taking something seriously later on.

I, myself have recently done that. That’s why I promised God and myself that I would make sure not to let any blessing come to waste again. I’ve been looking for a job this whole month of October but it felt like it’s been a couple of months! It’s a fine line between me, not being a homebody and me, aspiring to be somebody someday. I may not know yet what in specific I would do best. But one thing’s for sure: God have everything taken care of – He is the God of all miracles!

Few months ago, we went to Century City Mall to satisfy our tummies in Hole in the Wall but since we went there too early with our hungry tummies, the said food place is still closed (and since we still have other errands to attend to afterwards) so we decided to head over Le Petit Souffle which I must say is one of the most dreamy place I’ve ever been – not to mention their food is stellar. Try their Mac & Cheese!

For this particular look, I must say it’s a lovechild of my obsession for florals and the color black! Keeping things muted and not too bright in the eyes.

Hello lovely earthlings! Recently went back to the office from a two-weeks leave due to health reasons. I’ve been taking medications like what I’ve disclosed on my recent blog post and I also went back to my doctor a couple of times (latest was yesterday) and I just opt to rake off 3 valuable lessons that he told me to bear in mind that everyone else can do so as well.

1. Never compare yourself to people – especially to someone who’s lacking same as what you do. To those you look up to, you can use them as an inspiration to do better.

2.Don’t set your hopes too high and expect yourself to reach your goals right away. Great things take time.

3. Don’t dwell on the past anymore because it will just hinder you from growing and it won’t take you anywhere.

And for today’s look, to cinch that waist of mine that went bigger as my love for food grew bigger as well, I opt to wear a long outerwear to look slim paired with denim shorts to achieve the denim on denim trend which I’m fond of nowadays.

#AllyTurns22

Oh hi lovely people! Funny as it seems, it’s actually friday the 13th today, it’s payday and yeah, it’s my birthday, as well. And so, I’m not that sure if we can go somewhere to eat. We’re actually planning to paint the town red at Sambo Kojin but then, I bet there are lots of people in there. So I think we’re gonna buy food outside and celebrate for the meantime at home. And Sambo Kojin would most probably be on the 15th after church. And as for my officemates, well.. perhaps, I will buy a giant pizza for everyone to be zany of and treat my closest friend/s somewhere.

Anyhow, as I grow a year older today, I came to a steadfast decision to abide with an action plan towards self betterment. Here’s some of it:

Now that I’m 22, I will.. focus and divert my attention things and people that will help and motivate me to put my best foot forward in everything I will do.

Now that I’m 22, I will.. love myself more and no matter how hard it may be, I will move forward and let go of those people who didn’t even hesitate to leave me behind.

Now that I’m 22, I will.. make sure to be adnascent and not complascent with what I have right now and vouch for more blessings and miracles to take place in my life as I go further.

On the contrary..

Now that I’m 22, I will not.. let myself be stuck on things that won’t contribute on self growth and people who don’t intend to stay long and came just to filter negativity on my heart.

Now that I’m 22, I will not.. allow fear take over me in times of despair but trust that God will never leave me whatever happens.

Now that I’m 22, I will not.. waste my time forcing myself for people to value me as much as I value them. If you don’t want me in your life, and so be it. I will never be that girl who will force you to stay over and over again and beg for your attention like a lame dog.

Having said these, I really hope and pray this year will be a year of continuous learning, growth and blessings will overflow as I turn a year older and the fact that I’m not a teenager anymore, for real. Yeah right. 🙂

Roll Deep

Annyeong! It’s been a long time since I was able to post here and my deep apologies for that. I’ve been busy this past few weeks and thank God that after all the effort that I convened to find a job was not wasted. I’m still in the same industry but this time, the account that I’m in this time is related to my course which is in sales. I may not have actual experience with sales yet since this is just the second company that I’m able to work with.

And of course, after all what happened to the previous one before, I made a vow to myself that I would put my best game this time. I would do everything for me to excel and be able to stay/last long with this company. Not so I can brag that I’m employed and whatnot. But for me to be able to prove myself that I can do better and I’m not a failure. No one is. It’s all in your hands if you will let yourself stay with just the same picture or go after your dreams and never stop aiming for continous growth. In order for me to do that, I came up with a game plan I have to firmly comply with.

1. Learn from your mistakes and don’t settle for anything less than you deserve. (For crying out loud!)

I actually mentioned this before on my preceding posts and to be honest, I wasn’t able to abide in it myself. Easier said than done, eh? But in able for you to move forward, you have to stop clinging on people and things that you wholeheartedly value but takes you for granted all the time, right? It’s not loyalty, it’s called breaking your own heart. Sorry if I sounded like I’m talking about something else. But you must eliminate everything that hinders you from growing. Focus more on the people who helps you go on the next step of the sucess ladder and stop wasting your time on those people who just kept on pulling you down, taking away the confidence you have in you.

2.Stay strong and never ever stop aiming higher, everytime.
Being able to win the euchre in life and overcome whatever challenges life throws at you, you must stay persistent in going after your dreams being fulfilled with a flambeau held high in your hand. Guzzle whatever new learnings that you are to acquire as you go on with your journey through life. Hard times may come when you least expect it and yes, we may find it unyieldingly hard to overcome at times. But always keep in mind your very reason as to why you hanker for self-betterment and trust that God will always be there to pick us up and direct us to the path where He know that will help us to pursue our dreams.

3. Nothing’s permanent but go for something that will last long.
When I started looking for a job upon finishing college, my mindset used to hanker for just having a job and not to waste time being unemployed. But one thing I learned with what happened to my previous job, I realized that I have to precipitate and do something for me to find not just a job, but a career. There’s a hefty difference between the two. Having a job would only give you the title of being employed and being able to buy whatever you want. Having a career would not only give you the potent to buy everything you want and the honor of being employed but it will also yield conspicious success and unsurpassed growth.

** As of the moment, I’m planning to boycott Lookbook next year. I will just post the looks I posted here on the blog before but haven’t able to post at Lookbook next month.

Annyeong! How are you all doing? I really made sure that I get to post this week since I already started working and it’s only during the weekends that I would get to rest, chill and etc. But then, of course, if you love something (or someone.. err.. *covers face*), you would really make time for it no matter how busy you can be, right? Otherwise, it’s an indication that it’s either, it’s not your priority or you just don’t love it that much. How double meaning can that get? Uh, whatever!

Speaking of priorities, I know I’ve already avowed in one of my previous posts as to what are my goals and plans of partaking in the future. But then, as I convened my thoughts these past few days, I decipher what I really want to pursue in life. Although, truth be told, it’s not just one, not just two, but three! Fashion which is immensely obvious where my heart is. It’s either I would take various short courses at Fashion Institute of the Philippines in Ortigas, take Fashion Design & Merchandising at De La Salle – College of Saint Benilde which is I think is a 4-year course or take a 1 year or 4 year Fashion Design & Marketing course at School of Fashion & The Arts (Although it’s far from our house) which I’m planning to take next year, perhaps. Whatever my final choice of course & school I may be.

Another is Dance which I started being fixated with since I was a kid. Although I want to take a preliminary workshop first before taking a formal course if ever I’ll push it through. Why? I stopped dancing for about 4 or 5 years already due to my asthma which I was healed from for a long time. I guess I just didn’t push myself too much to it these days. And I would not deny that among the three, dance is my least priority of pursuing. I don’t know why. Maybe I would pursue it if I still can after 4 or 5 years?

Last but my number one priority of them all, Law. I never been on the top of the class in my elementary and high school days. I was the happy-go-lucky-rebellious-type back then. Not until, to my surprise, when we started having law subjects back in my last two years in college, I was blessed to be in the top 1-3 consistently. I must say that I didn’t strive hard just because of the joy of being recognized as one of the top law students in class but it’s predominantly because law has captured my heart and I felt pure bliss in studying it. Having said that, it was a firm decision of mine to pursue law after 2 or 3 years at either UP, San Beda or UST.

Above all these, I want to go after my own dreams with my own money. My parents can pay for my tuition etc, yes. But I think it’s far more fulfilling if you get to go after your life goals and dreams with your hard-earned money, right? It’s like you prove those people who don’t believe in you wrong. As for my case, I can prove those bullies (with many ‘S’, BULLIESSSS!) who made me think twice (even thrice and so) to believe in myself that I may be some kind of dirt to them before but I can smile to them from ear to ear in the near future and prove them wrong of wasting their precious time on belittling me.

As to my look for today, I took the risk of wearing a floral maxi dress which I don’t usually wear yet in a normal setting. But since I’m currently working now and I’m no longer a student, I decided to pull off a bit mature look than what I usually do. Of course, with my fixation on florals saying hello.. again.

Everyone’s Got Something

rrrrrrr

Ohayu gozaimasu! How are you guys doing? Sorry for being inactive for the past couple of weeks. Well, I must say that things are really shifting and change is taking place in alost all facets of my life. My graduation was held last Friday at PICC Plenary Hall (Stay tuned for my blog post about that big day I had this week!) and I already start the ball rolling with regards to job hunting online such as at Job Street and JobsDB.

It felt like it all came so fast and next thing I know, the girl who just read the newspaper and head straight to the entertainment section and nothing else turned to a graduating student who never want to waste time after finishing college with that, looks forward to job fairs and go directly to the classified ads in the newspaper.
Just to be candid, I used to be the happy-go-lucky type who doesn’t take life too seriously. I was the unmotivated one and everything was all fun and games to me. Before.

In just a snap, I became the hungry for success type. The one who aims to find a job (a stable one, hopefully!) right after college. Maybe it’s all because of my insecurities that made me to a person I’m today. To all those people who belittled and underestimated me that’s pushing me to do better and attain the success I’m yearning for.
In order for me to prove all those people wrong for not believing in me and which later on made me not to believe in myself as well. For my insecurities to vanish into thin air and when the wind comes swirling back to me, all of it would turn into confidence and the heart that has been torn would finally meet its sunshine.

As for this look, it was what I wore during our second day in Baguio last month. Yes, last month. I know my day 2 & 3 travel diary was immensely overdue. And please forgive me for being late on posting it due to my preparation for graduation and stuff. And I sincerely promise that I would be posting the Baguio | Day 2 tomorrow. Back to the actual look, this came a bit of a surprise to me. Since I originally planned of pairing my oversized checkered shirt dress with my black skater skirt instead of my violet-marsala skirt. Due to my comfort-over-style rule, I decided to wear the marsala one then. Because there would never be an excuse with conforming to what you think will look lovely on the outside but deep inside you, you’re not genuinely comfortable on what you’re wearing, right?

Going Nowhere

Oh hello there! How are you all doing? I hope everything’s fine, especially to all my fellow countrymen, since Typhoon Ruby has recently came in & so glad it went out from Manila already. My prayers are with those families affected. Don’t you worry guys, God will never leave us nor forsake us. He is bigger than Typhoon Ruby and any other storm that anyone could ever encounter! Can I get an amen?

As for my case, well, I’ve been implementing this resolution that.. Uhmm.. Well, I admit, truth be told, it’s not what I wish to revel into but it’s bluntly what I have to do. It’s for my good and this is pretty much what I deserve. To stop running after people who don’t even bother to include or squeeze me into their daily routine. Busy or not, if a person is important to you, you’ll make time for them. No but’s and no excuses. No questions asked. Am I right?
And what makes it worst is I always get ignored & unappreciated. Almost everytime. What makes it even more heartbreaking is that the people who I exert too much effort & spends my time with the most are the ones who takes me for granted the most, as well. They perhaps think that even how rude or unappreciative they may be to me, I would be still be there for them.

As a matter of fact, in line with people taking me for granted, I’m still stuck with the guy who for the record, had hurt me the most but I loved the most. Ironic, isn’t? Well, sometimes, when the reality has slapped you multiple times, you’ll realize that it’s about time that you stop letting others pushing and pulling you around like you’re some toy in a toy store. And with that, start moving on with your life without them. It may be hard, yes it is indeed hard. But hey honey, guess what? No one’s gonna/can ever help you forget and move on but yourself. Who says it’s easy? But there’s no harm in trying, yes?

Running away is not always a sign of weakness, sometimes it proves how strong you are because it’s not that easy to run away from something your heart doesn’t approves of but you know it’s for the best. So for today’s look, I’m pretty much busy with school stuffs, diverse events and such. And I’m more than a hundred percent sure all of us gets excessively busy at times and with that, we sometimes feel too lazy to dress up grandly, right? So here’s one of my go-to look or perhaps, my too-lazy-to-dress-up-too-much look:

Little Me

_DSC1402a

Hi there! Sorry for my insolvency this past months/weeks, well, due to our midterm and final period in my final year in college (hopefully!!), I can’t post as frequent as I usually do before.

On the other hand, I hope you don’t mind if I vent my feelings here. I just can’t take the fact that the world is like being turn upside down nowadays. In general, whether when it comes to friends, I’ve been encountering people that I got conflict with that the person seem to be insensitive and find it hard to admit her fault and not seem to know how to say sorry. It’s like that person is unbelievably expecting I would be the one to apologize despite of the fact that I’m not the one at fault. And I have another ex-friend who had been my “comforter” before about my problems with a certain guy. She’s been there for me at all times, especially when I need a shoulder to lean on. At that time, I was utterly thankful of having her in my life. Not until, the heartbreaking day came that she left me in an instant. No explanations, no signs of the idea of her, leaving me. Nothing. Not to mention that I send numerous messages to her in facebook, asking her what went wrong. But she chose to ignore all of those & fling off our friendship that I taught was a real one. It led me to wondering if real friends still exists these days. Only God does.

On the auxiliary aspect, subsequent to the avowed aspect, when it comes to love, oh boy! I think I don’t feel the need to elaborate it further. It makes me feel little even more that all of the said people is so much happy with their lives by putting someone down. With all of those, my thought of going to consultation is growing hefty than ever. Gee, I don’t know. So help me, God!

Proceeding with my look post, well, I must admit that this particular look is a backlog. Meaning, this was taken I think, last year! I just found out that I still have it and so, there. The statement top says it all! Don’t you agree? Just what I needed to do!

Break Free

Annyeong! Okay okay, I know it’s been (almost) a couple of weeks since I should’ve posted my recent look post. And my apologies for the said matter. It’s just that these past few weeks have been the peak of our stressful requirements and activities since I’m in my final year on college (with God’s grace and mercy!!). With that, I can’t find enough time to post this one. Especially our final exams is coming up in two weeks and we’re like drowning with the stress due to some of our professors bombarding us with school works.

Not to mention my state right now. As some of you remember from my prior posts that I found out that I’ve been suffering from depression. And at this point in time, after reading various articles (from the net, newspaper & even listening unexpectedly in the radio), I’m pretty much puzzled as to what type of depression I’ve been tangled into way before. And I’ve been having thoughts of going into consultation perhaps, if time and ample courage permits me.
With regards with my look atm, well, I can’t seem to hold myself away from my excessive adornment with florals. ‪#‎SorryNotSorry‬ right there. Teehee!

There are really those times where we just don’t care if what we wear is in trend or not, what matters to us is our personal preference. Though I’m not saying that floral is out of trend or whatsoever, okay? My point is, we shouldn’t force or perhaps, sacrifice our own style preference just for us to be able to follow today’s trend. Got my point?
